Townsville School for Field Studies

Offered: Spring Semester

Eligibility: Pomona Biology 41E  (evolutionary biology), JSD Biology 44, or equivalent

Description: Students with a good background in introductory biology may be interested in a semester spent with the School for Field Studies Townsville Program studying rain forest ecology and related management issues in northern Queensland. This program is familiar in broad brush with the Costa Rica Pitzer operation described below, but lacks the challenging element of a foreign language (despite the occasionally thick Aussie accents!)
